I received a call today from Sally, Spud and Hoppy's breeder. She is moving to Colorado and is trying to cut back on as much as possible before she moves. She has one male....a gorgeous Fox Red....who will be 9 next month. She is retiring him as a stud and asked if we would take him so he could live out the rest of his years in an active but loving home. She said we were the only home she would put him in...that if we couldn't take him, she would just keep him and take him to Colorado with her.

What a compliment!! And now here's the really neat part of it. His name is Badger, and he is Sally and Hoppy's father. So Daddy will be coming home to his kids!!
