Carrot Crunchies

Cook four cups carrots. When tender, drain and puree. Carrots add two cups rice flour (I just put 2 cups dry, uncooked rice in food processor till powdery) and add to carrots. Add a little more flour if needed to make very firm dough. Or if dough is too firm, add some of the water from cooking the carrots. This is not an exact recipe, but it doesn't need to be.

If you want to roll out cookies, chill mixture then roll and cut out. Otherwise, make balls of dough and flatten with fork or bottom of a drinking glass on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake in low oven, 200 degrees for several house till dry and very hard.

My dogs LOVE these things. They are very crunchy. I made a huge batch for gifts for Christmas, and Ava stole one of the tins of carrot crunchies and they had a big old snack!!!

Yup - these are the same ones I sent to your boys. There really isn't exact measurements - I just mix the two thing together to make thick dough - a little on the dry side is better. My dogs go ape over these crazy things. I'm thinking of trying it with green beans next.

No - because I thought the instructions said to be sure to list exact amounts - and there really isn't a precise measure.

Oh - please submit them - If you have a close amount that should be okay - just state that in the instructions.

Thanks for the plug Original2labcru!!!
