My dog *loves* carrots and I know they're good for her. However, we often have celery that goes to waste (you buy the whole, big bunch and only need a bit!) I thought maybe I could cut up some celery stalks for her rather than just tossing it away.
Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Daisy likes a little celery, but not a lot. They eat grass, I can't imagine why celery would be harmful. The fruits and veggies to be avoided that I'm aware of are anything in the onion family such as onions, leeks, garlic and any grapes, raisins, or apple seeds.

Thanks . . .
Yes, we'd heard to avoid giving our dog grapes & raisins. Hadn't heard that about onions, but we wouldn't have tried to give her onions anyway. (Isn't dog breath bad enough on it's own? LOL!)
I'll try giving her a small piece of celery and see if she takes to it.
