Exclamation Cooper at saran wrap, now what?

Last night my dd was heating up leftovers and she dropped saran wrap on the floor. Cooper gobbled it right up. How long before he poops it out? He's already pooped twice since then and no plastic wrap yet. He's eating, drinking and acting completely normal otherwise.

I should mention the saran wrap was enough to cover a cereal bowl, so I guess about 5 inches by 11.

Still no saran wrap in the poop. He's gone about 8 times now and nothing. I've got a call in to the vet. Still acting otherwise normal. Just not sure what to think.

Vet said to keep an eye on him and as long as he's beng his normal self that I shouldn't worry. If he starts to vomit or act otherwise sick I need to call back. He said it can take a long time for saran wrap to pass out for some reason. Guess that means I'll be checking poop in the yard yet.

AH, little stinker. So sorry this has happened.
Not to make light of this, but maybe the poo will come out "prewrapped".

Please keep us updated.

I once had a serious dumpster diver and occasionally I would find a plastic vegetable bag in his poop. You know, the kind you steam veggies in? It would be all wound up like a hairball.
Keep an eye on your pup, but I would expect you'll see the wrap again in a day or so.

If it doesn't come out eventually, and you are sure he ate it, eventually you do have to go to a vet.

Molly swallowed her rabies tag and it took 5 days to pass. It probably moved slowly or got stuck a few times.

Keep looking, saran wrap is very sticky/clingy.

Success this afternoon! The saran wrap reappeared in my yard. He seems a little pooped out (pardon the pun) today. Must've been a bit rough on him to pass it.

It took Chloe 60 hours to poop out a latex hair dye glove, she swallowed it whole. It came out the same way, had to assist when she was passing it I was giving her mineral oil 2 times a day.

So glad Cooper successfully passed the saran wrap.

Last Christmas Jubal ate an entire loaf of pumpkin bread wrapped in saran wrap. It took a couple of days for him to get rid of his Christmas treat!

Happy to read Cooper pooped out the saran wrap. I've been reading all week and what these labbies are eating is just amazing. May as well call them vacuums or something.
