    That is what I thought, but since my roommate was VERY anti ice with my dogs and caused a bit of a debate about it, I thought I would come and ask here. Thanks!!

    We've given Lola ice cubes since she was a small pup. She loves them. Never had any problems.

    I saw this rumor floating around on facebook and people posting how they are so glad they saw the warning and don't feed ice anymore...

    It absolutely amazes me how blindly people believe what they read online without doing any fact checking themselves.

    There was a thread here on the lab forum about it last year - everyone appeared to agree ice was not good for the teeth!!!! I was undecided

    It's like coffee. One year it's good for you, next year it's not for you. Just use moderation. And don't give a very hot dog lots of cold water at once. Now that will cause problems with their belly.
