Diet and Fecal Health in Dogs

Diet and Fecal Health in Dogs: Meat vs. Kibble-Based Diets - Pet Food Diva

I get email feeds from this lady. Diana is closely associated with Dr. Jean Dodds. I haven't read the link to the whole study yet but I'm prepared to find it agrees with our Holistic/Integrative Vet who is urging us to go back to a raw diet. As many of you know Oban is now on a Rx diet as per the Internal Specialist Vet who is anti-raw. Oban will have his annual checkup next week with our regular H/I Vet to check his blood work remains corrected since his near death experience. Then we will ramp up our return to raw, assuming the blood work is ok.

Is that the one where they grind up tires to make a food that meets AAFCO standards? Do you have a link for the one you are thinking of?

No, not the tire dog food movie. I have Rogers and it was an On Demand doc. I didn't find anything new in it, same old feed raw, kibble is garbage. One thing that was interesting though, towards the end of the movie Dr. Karen Becker mentioned that you don't have to feed raw for every meal if your budget can't support it, so it doesn't have to be all or nothing.

      Pet Fooled (2016) - IMDb

I think it's available on Netflix.
