Sending good thoughts that you can get this under control. Mulder had seizures towards the end of his life and they can be scary - especially when they cluster. Wrigley is just a baby - so sorry she (and you) are going through this.

    poor girl, sending good thoughts

A friend is dealing with seizure issues with her border collie (it's not unsual in the breed though his lines are known and they haven't heard of any others with it). It's been a year or so now and he was getting them monthly (fairly severe ones). They hope to finally have found a combo of drugs that work but they do a number of him overall personality/body condition sadly He's only around 3. But hopefully Tickle's trigger is the rosemary which you can try to avoid as best as possible (VS unkown triggers)

It's been 2 weeks and no seizures. We have an appointment next week with a neurologist, just to kind of see if anything sticks out. If nothing comes of it, we'll see a holistic vet later in the month. She's too young to be on so many meds, which are supposed to last her lifetime.

Interesting! I have a friend who grows rosemary in her garden... just read how toxic it can be in larger quantities. Hope you get to the bottom of this!

Just an update, no seizures right now. We've been watching the ingredients in treats and food. She goes in for blood tests on Friday, apparently there is a liver test the neurologist wants done. Liver problems can cause seizures. So I guess we are trying to rule that out. Her regular blood test never showed anything but we'll see....

My chocolate lab Hunter suffered from from seizures the later part of his life. His first was around 8 years of age, it was a grand mal, and he had 2 more at the vet after I had brought him in that night. They never figured out exactly what was causing them. They did find a thyroid imbalance so he was put on medication for that and then also Phenobarbtol(sp?) that he took the rest of his life. From 8 until his death at around 11.5 he maybe had 8-10 more seizures. Was the most excruciating thing to live through as an owner so I know you're pain. They never got easier to watch. He did live a happy and full life. I had to put him down when they discovered fluid on his heart but the vet did not think his heart condition was tied to his seizures. I did pay in the beginning for extensive tests to try and find a cause but nothing definitive was found.
