    Grizzly Salmon oil

Just wanted to let you know that the wild Alaskan salmon oil sold at Petco (its in the same bottle as Grizzly just a different label) is Grizzly Salmon oil. If you look at the back of the bottle you will see it is made by Grizzly. I called Grizzly about something else. The lady I spoke with told me about their oil at Petco - same exact thing. You can get a 16 oz bottle online for about $16. A bit cheaper if you set up auto ship. Just an FYI. Here is the link

I would just add that the big savings is only good on the 16 oz bottle, not the larger or smaller bottles. Even at the store a 32 oz bottle is about $1.49 per ounce, including state tax. Online from Petco, if you order enough to get free shipping (?$50), you can get 3- 16 oz bottles, or 48 ounces, for $1.11 per ounce, including our state tax. So I ordered 3 bottles. I figure if Lark gets 3 pumps a day or ~0.36 ounces, these 3 bottles will last approximately 133 days, or about 4 months, not an eternity. And I found out she's also getting a heck of a lot more Omega 3s in her 3 pump dose than a human gets from their normal daily dose. The "NatureMade Ultra Omega 3" capsules that I use when we're traveling contain only about the same amount of Omega 3 as a single pump of the grizzly salmon oil.

I set up autoship so no shipping. I buy a lot of stuff online from Petco because their store prices are ridiculous. They have free shipping days often.

I just found some Grizzly oil at my local pet shop. I purchased a bottle because I ran out of Samson's Snout powder and forgot to reorder on Amazon. Is Grizzly a good oil? I had never heard of it before and purchased the bottle without researching. Came back here and found this thread!

Salmon oil has many benefits for most dogs. I give to Samson to help his joints. He had a TTA (knee surgery) last year and takes supplements to keep his joints in good health. Salmon oil has other benefits as well. Skin and coat come to mind.

Has anyone noticed the daily servings are different for the 16 oz bottle vs. the 32 oz bottle? I grabbed the large bottle today and before putting in Samson's food, I glanced at the servings and it said 50-100lb 3 pumps a day. On the 16 oz bottle, it states over 75lbs, 7-8 pumps per day. At that point I thought I purchased the wrong thing but I did not. Ingredients are identical...label is identical all around. Very odd.

I ordered some but haven't opened the shipping box yet. What I was looking at was the label on the website but when I look at the website now, they show the dose for cats on the 32 oz bottle that's labeled for dogs, and the dose for dogs on the 16 oz bottle says 3 pumps for dogs our size. I'll have to look at what they sent me!
