My girls eat any where from .75 cups twice a day to more than 2 cups twice a day. This varies by meal too, more if they seem thin or I have been working them hard, less if they seem pudgy or have been sedentary.
My guys get 'cookie time', they have to earn cookies by performing somehow, at least twice a day, and get a large bedtime biscuit, and nibbles of our food, so they have several eating opportunities a day :-) This makes a Labrador happy!

Thanks for all this. Sunny get lots of treats & bones throughout the day too. Your dog has the most beautiful face.

I know, kind of old thread, but I was wondering about this recently. A lot of the Labs around my area are kind of short and built like tanks in the 90 to 100 pound range. Zeke, on the other hand, is taller and much thinner but not skinny at all. I feed him a cup and a half of kibble twice a day with training type bites throughout the day for things done well. He's about 3 feet from his butt to nose and stands about 2 feet ground to top of shoulder. He gets a good 20 to 30 minute aerobic workout at least once a day but some times twice. On days it's only once he gets a good leisurely walk for about 20 minutes. Reading this thread though I guess he's pretty average.
