I feed NutriSource grain free (Prairie version). I've used NutriSource for years....good company (Tuffy's) and I like the food. Dogs like it and have good output. It's expensive...I buy online. They have grain inclusive versions, too, and the company has other lines (PureVita is one of them...I've fed that, too).

Hello new here. I used to be a total dog food snob, but now I realize that every dog is different and has different dietary needs. I'll be bringing a new lab puppy home mid-July (SOOOOO excited!!!). My breeder feeds Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy to her moms and pups, so that's what I'll start out with. I'll see how it goes. Fromm Gold Large Breed Puppy is in the wings as a contender. I'm not going immediately to grain-free, unless it's necessary. One of my yapper dogs (maltese/westie rescue) is my allergy dog (allergic to literally everything) - hoping that the new puppy isn't as sensitive.
