Yes, I do read the labels thoroughly. It seems chicken is in almost everything. A lot of the things that I've been reading about trying to stay away from is in most every food.
I find it hard to believe a dog would be allergic to many meats as well, but...

I will keep reading up on the raw diet and see if it's something I can make happen.

Did your Vet give you any medication for her ears? I would work on getting her ears cleared up first. They can get very bad if left untreated.

There are many LID (Limited ingredient diets) for dogs/cats. Focus on a meat proteins that Katie has never ever eaten; possibly venison or rabbit and see if she reacts to it. Also, focus on all the treats you're giving her and make changes if necessary.
And yes, RAW/homemade feeding is another option. Be prepared that it takes some work to make balanced RAW/homemade meals.
As for her ears, give her a good quality probiotic 2X daily with her meals for at least 3 months, as ear problems often stem from an imbalance in the gut.
    Good luck with Katie!

In case it helps, when Oban was sick our new Holistic/Integrative Vet put him on a home cooked diet of a novel protein and a novel carb, 60/40. Instant success in the digestive area and as time went on we noticed itchiness resolved and ears and eyes did not run. It was mid July and they had already started. They never came back.

I have a small dog who is my severe allergy dog. I found out that, in addition to any type of fowl, she instantly has an itchy reaction to potatoes, white or sweet. She does better on a grain-free, potato free, fish based kibble. Currently, she's doing okay on Go! LID Sensitivity and Shine Salmon. Another possibility is Farmina Quinoa Skin and Coat Herring. The best thing for you to do is have your dog allergy tested to pinpoint her exact allergies, but it's pricey.
