Dozer had recurrent urinary issues when he was a pup, his urine was described as end to end struvite crystals. We never used a prescription urinary diet or changed foods, so I can't really help in that department. He was treated with antibiotics for ongoing UTI's, Vitamin C tablets and Cranberry tablets and increased water intake (we are on a well so we had him on distilled water for awhile). Hope Lola is feeling better soon!!.

    Good read on your part!
We use Brita filtered water, with a jug of room-temp water on the counter for the dogs, and the Brita filter jug in the fridge for us.

What strength of Cran caps are you giving Lola? How's she doing lately?

We’re trying the NaturVet Cranberry Relief treats. We’re giving Lola two a day (based on her weight), and the total cranberry extract is 472 mg per day. Lola seems to like the treats. The brand was recommended to us, but we could just go to a straight cranberry cap too.

She seemed to be doing a lot better today. She ate her regular kibble, and her stools were great. Drinking a lot more water today too.

    Thanks.
