This is all dependent on activity level, age, food, etc.

Bacon is 10 months old and 75 lbs.

He is extremely active, from Field lines.

He gets 2 cups, twice a day of GF Fromm food.

depends on the food and the dog.

jake is 85b lbs and gets 3/4 cup of farmina (when eating farmina) or a cup of fromm. with a spoon of non fat yogurt, or an egg, and a spoon of pumpkin.2x per day.
vangie just gets a cup of whatever food she is on, but she is smaller.and has all those annoying allergic things. 2x per day.
eli , growing pup, frenchie, is fed raw, and gets about 9 oz and a chicken neck, 2x per day.

Sophie is 2 1/2, spayed, solid 66 pounds and moderately active. She gets 1 1/4 cup of Fromm grain free, rotating protein, 2x per day. Also get a spoonful of yogurt once a day, plus training treats. A marrow bone once a week, and going to start a turkey neck once a week next week.

Yes. My 100lb 13 year old field lab eats at least 4 cups per day plus whatever he can steal, and any treats offered (including occasionally junk food, after all, he is 13 FFS). He's on high quality food. On lower quality food, it took a lot more. His hunger switch is never off. My friend has a show lab that is free-fed and she suggested doing the same for mine, and I went... um... he's a field lab, remember? He'd kill himself. Anyway, his weight fluctuates between 90-105. Last weight was 92 with a well-defined waist. He gets a lot of activity, but apparently he doesn't think so...

I have a 10 year old conformation bred lab who is 86 pounds on about 2 1/4 cups of high quality food per day. If I free fed him, he'd eat until he threw up and then come back for more. I could get him up to 100 pounds pretty quickly if I fed him 4 cups a day, which I doubt he'd turn down. Every dog is different.

70 lb mix. Close to 4 cups a day with carrots . Some treats. Seems I am over fielding her. I cannot tell as she shaped like the. Shepard/lab mix mom and got the height and color from the chocolate lab dad.
I think with a waist line and I can see the ribs.

Puppy large breed pro plan focus .

Mine is pure, long line of hunting stock, which is probably why he's so big, I guess... when his weight dips below 90, the vet usually has me increase his food to 6 cups. Sometimes I feed him homemade just because he's grain-free and it's actually cheaper. I follow the quantities the vet gives for him.

Sounds like he's just a big solid boy with an excellent metabolism. My older dog fluctuates between 86-88 and lately I've been increasing his food just to keep weight on him. He's currently at 3 1/2 cups per day. My 6 month old eats the same food at 3 1/3 cups. A lot depends on the particular dog and it just sounds like yours can pack it in!
