Mine is 71 pounds and he gets 2 cups per day, one in the morning and one at night.
I had one that was 78 pounds and he ate the same.
Labs ALWAYS look hungry and given the chance they could eat 5 pounds of food. And then be sick.
How many cups of food should I give my 75 pound lab a day? I talked to a guy at the dog park with a similar sized dog and he said he gave his 2 cups a day. Does that seem ok? My dog is a bit overweight and I think it's because my dog always seems hungry and I give in

Depends on the dog. The line. Age of dog. Size of dog. What kind of exercise the dog is getting. My 100 lb 3 year old Lab gets two cups 1.5 cups a day plus green beans and an occasional whole, raw egg, plus treats. My 100 lb 1 year old Lab gets 4.5 cups per day plus an occasional whole, raw egg, plus treats. They eat the same food and they get the same amount of exercise though the younger dog exerts himself more.
Do you guys stick with the same kind of flavor dog food or switch it up?
My 80 pound yellow gets 2.5 cups per day, my 45 pound black mix get 2 cups a day and our 18 pound fuzz ball gets half a cup per day.
All are fed Pro Plan Sport 30 / 20. Been feeding Pro Plan for about a year and a half, no plan to change.

He slept in the sink for years, silly boy.

Depends on the brand, calories, your dogs age and activity level, metabolism, etc.
when my 95# boy was on kibble, he only required 1.5cups to maintain weight.
Ours is 75 lbs and he gets 1 1/3 cup twice a day with some treats (small).
My 70 pound female eats 2 cups a day no matter what brand she is eating. Try mixing in sodium free green beans as a filler and feed less kibble, should help him shed some weight if hes overweight
My almost 18 month old (68 lbs) gets fed 3 cups a day. Pro plan sport 26/16 and she's fairly active.
My brothers 86 lb. field lab also gets fed 3 cups per day- but it's science diet large breed.
I think it just depends on the dog/food/activity ~

My 80-pound boy, almost 6 years old, gets 2 cups per meal. We feed twice a day and add probiotics and enzymes to the kibble (and water).
We are feeding Canidae Pure Sky (duck formula), which is 550 cal/cup.
He's WAY skinny and I'd like to put 10 pounds on him, but he runs too much.
