If you are short on food, feed it, one bag will not make a difference regardless of the ingredients. If not, donate it

Lamb Meal, Ground Brown Rice, Ground Rice, Pearled Barley, Rice Bran, Canola Oil stabilized with mixed Tocopherols (a natural source of Vitamin E) and Citric Acid, Corn Gluten Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Natural Lamb Flavor, Salt, Fish Oil stabilized with mixed Tocopherols and Citric Acid, Dried Kelp, Chicory Root Extract, L-Lysine, Choline Chloride, DL-Methionine, Potassium Chloride, Dried Carrots, Yeast Extract, Dried Spinach, Dried Parsley, Dried Tomato, Dried Cranberry, Glucosamine Sulfate, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Chondroitin Sulfate, Rosemary Extract, Ascorbyl Polyphosphate (source of Vitamin C), Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Zinc Oxide, Sodium Selenite, Selenium Yeast, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Sulfate, Inositol, Niacin, Taurine, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Manganous Oxide, Vitamin A Supplement, Riboflavin, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Biotin, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of Vitamin K activity), Calcium Iodate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid.
Good Lamb foods are hard to find, but Farmina N&D has two, one with 37% protein and one with 28% protein. That company uses fresh and dehydrated lamb and the foods also have herring and egg. Here is the website if you are interested, apparently Farmina is not hard to find in PA. Farmina Pet Foods - Happy pet. Happy You. | Happy pet. Happy you.

The one that you posted looks like a low grade food.

And citric acid - be careful not to add water to kibble containing it.

I agree with not liking how the grains are fragmented, and I avoid corn.

But I wouldn't buy it with your own dollar.

Not so much because of the corn; rather the 3 fragmented rice ingredients, along with the barley - if you add all of these together, you're feeding (and paying) for a grain based food with a very tiny amount of meat.

One thing I seen a HUGE difference of in overall energy stabilization was in making sure my dogs were getting more meat versus carb's; and I thought they were healthy before. The difference is short of amazing - don't short a dog on good animal (not plant based) protein.
You took the words right out of my mouth Woofie . . . or should I say off the paper. Agree totally.

I did end up donating it, (I work at a nonprofit with 99% under poverty level families. If someone had nothing else to feed, I'm sure this food is fine. I do appreciate everyone's suggestions.
