I would get off Blue altogether. I doubt an allergy or food issue at this age.

Get a small Bag of Pro Plan Puppy chicken/Rice and see what you think.

I looked through the fromm website and they list a bunch of different flavors and i believe 3 different lines. Which one is the grain free one?

Bacon rotates the Grain free (and chicken free) flavors in the Four-Star line. He has some food allergies.

The grain free flavors are: Game Bird, Salmon Tunalini, Surf and Turf, Lamb and Lentil, Pork and Peas, and Beef Fritatta.

The lamb, pork, and beef are also chicken free, so I have had experience with those. Bacon does extremely well on all 3 of those flavors. Great shiny coat, great poops, and great energy!

I've fed Fromm to Sophie for a year and a half, rotating proteins in the grain free line, although I do feed Salmon al la Veg too. I've been very happy with the results. I also feed Bruce Fromm Large Breed Puppy. Very happy with this food too.

Try Blue Buffalo Wilderness it is 100% grain free. Some grains can cause skin allergies. Also Blue Buffalo does not contain corn, wheat, or soy which can also cause allergies.
We are feeding Max the Blue Buffalo Wilderness puppy food and he is doing very well on it.
Purina Plan contains Wheat, Corn Gluten meal and poultry by product meal in the first 5 Ingredients.
These are just fillers and Gluten in my opinion is not something I would eat or feed to my pets.

I am rotating with Fromm and Acana at the moment. I am probably going to try Blue Buffalo in place of Fromm next time. This is the second time I have tried to use Fromm in the past 1 1/2 years, and the poop is a little squishy on it ..... not bad but not great either - hence the fact I am trying to find something else to use instead. My dogs do well on Acana.

Try looking at the NutriSource grain-free options also. They are a family-owned company of long-standing with no recalls. Their formulas are a bit more simple than the Fromm grain-free and certainly cost less.
