I used to feed ProPlan which my dogs looked good on. Now I feed Victor. It costs less, the dogs like it better (not that they didn't like the ProPlan, they'll eat anything), and they still look great.
FYI, way back when, I fed a bag of Purina Dog Chow while I was figuring out what to feed. Sam's coat got dull before he finished the bag. My dogs are both very shiny on the ProPlan and on Victor. No dry / flaky skin. Good body condition.
We rotate the chicken free flavors of Fromm 4-star grain free line.
