Still doing raw and loving it! Rivers is healthier now then he ever was; Creek has been eating raw since she was 6mnths old, or thereabouts, so I have no previous issues to compare to with her.
After doing cost comparison on a spreadsheet; we're spending a lot less, food goes farther, no dietary/digestion issues and I don't have to clean up the yard - their stools literally crumble on their own.

The difference in the boy, from just a year ago is so huge, I can't believe it took me that long to decide. Personally, after seeing the major differences in his energy, overall vitality, digestion, no eye buggers, no stiffness, etc I will never raise a dog on kibble again.
He is doing amazing; when he had to have a tooth pulled at the vet because the 2 dogs slammed into each other; vet couldn't believe how clean his teeth were.
These 2 do not get whole chicken bones, either or recreation bones, for that matter. That's the only thing Rivers will get nasty with Creek about; so I just don't allow them.
Rivers's teeth, in general, since we stopped kibble entirely, almost a year ago now are very clean; he no longer gets that build-up of crud on his back molars. He doesn't get grains, period though and very limited amounts of starch.
He might get carrots once or twice a week; pumpkin every other day for added fiber - no potatoes of any kind.
No ear gunk, no toe scratching, etc - all of his yeasty issues from a year ago have definitely vanished; didn't take long either.
Creek does get oatmeal & millet rotated; but no potatoes either. The plan was to keep her on LB Fromm's til she was 15mnths or so; but once she got a smell/taste of what Rivers was eating, she refused to eat her dry food again.
I tried for 3 days; she wouldn't eat. After working with her vet & finding a formula that worked for a growing pup, we switched her off kibble too.

A little late to the game, but we also feed Purina Pro Plan. I started it about a year ago, after bringing Coal home. A year later, Coal is a healthy 74 lbs and has the shiniest, softest fur! My 11 yr old yellow lab is also 100% softer and silkier than ever! My mom is always asking me "what is it that you feed them?? They are so soft!"

Let me know how the Farmina low grain chicken works out for Emma. I've used their codfish low grain before and liked it.
I have fed many different brands and honestly I dont see much of a difference between any. last 4 months been raw boost venison by natures variety. think im gonna try something like ziwipeak or raw homemade soon.
I use Simply Right (Sam's Club) grain free salmon and pea. I honestly feel kind of guilty for not getting a "premium" brand. But I don't want to price myself out. Maya isn't crazy about kibble - her fosters told me she didn't usually eat her meals. her previous owner fed her raw.
We rotate using most varieties of Champion Foods "Orijen" and the grain free "Acana" formulas. Both dogs are doing pefect. My 11 year old GSD was transformed health wise when she was switched off lower cost brands, when her new little brother Wyatt came home as a pup 4 years ago.I did alot of research about nutrition after losing my last Lab, and have seen 1st hand the difference it made in our old girl. SHe isn't old anymore. Wyatt has been on this diet since 8 weeks in one way or another, and is extremely healthy and has had ZERO health issues whatsoever. Both dogs also get raw meaty beef bones a few times a week, and random vegetables as small treats troughout the week. I am constantly considering going to a RAW diet for them, and still believe done properly, this would be the absolute best option. Just haven't got my head around it enough yet to make the move.
