    The Chemistry of Kibble

Did you know that the sign of a dog liking his or her food, is if they vomit after eating? Or that some whales only have taste buds in their stomachs? Or that catfish are the preferred study subject because they have taste buds al over their body?

This is a very interesting read about dog and cat foods, and how companies test for "flavor." I encourage everyone to read it. I learned quite a bit.

funny i was thinking of this today
it'd be easy to make a good dog kibble
cooking it and flavoring it would be the challenge
i think it would be e z tho

    dogtorj.com
tells you all about what to feed
    with science not speculation
i believe most dog ailments are diet caused
my lab's been siezure free since i changed kibble
the vet told me dogs that eat bad food have thick blood
    as in glue ish
    as in gluten
    and soy
    and grains
    this has been scientifically proven
    they are poisons
    most kibble is poison
    !

i can't believe most vets don't know this

Yeah. I actually think this person must work for dogtorj. I went on the website to see if it looked like the same person posting in both places, but there is no way unless the person here is intentionally lacking in spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. I've never blocked anyone on here before, but I'm tempted just to avoid the preachy nonsesne.

That was a really great article but kind of scary! My dogs would die for putrid flavored kibble. They would role in their food before they ate it. We went to a local pet store yesterday that invited a bunch of various venders in with free samples during a pet photo session with Santa. I fully intend to put that picture as my avatar some day. One of the vendors "gimic" was a napkin with their logo on it to test if your kibble was sprayed with flavor. If you put the kibble on the napkin the oils would separate from the kibble. I actually buy her kibble for our cats because it's grain free and baked not extruded. We tried raw with the cats but they really didn't like it. The get canned and kibble both. I asked her why they like the kibble and she said it was the same reason we eat carbs! The light went off - junk food! I am so glad the dogs like their raw food!

i offer research and personal experience of my lab's epilepcy

you got insults and idiotic baseless assumptions

    is that a poem?

is using the return key a challenge to yur mind?

    my vet said exactly that
you are obviously not a vet
and know nothing of blood science
    or what gluten is
    or soy
soy is the base for super glue
    dumb***

    that's medical science
not internet ninnys whining with sand box newby crap
like they are expert at anything else...

you liken your pathetic ego to successful vets
    bizarre
