    coconut oil

Our dog Cooper has been having hot spot issues and we are going to try using coconut oil.

Has anyone used coconut oil and what dosage have you found successful?

    Thank you

My friend swears by it. I think she uses 1-2 tablespoons a day.

Any problems with diarrhea while giving them coconut oil? Fish oil pills really messed Oakley up.

I used to buy it for myself but I would have to lather it on my hands and wear gloves over night. Wood stove+Winter=Dry alligator hands! Lol

We also give Lola a tablespoon of coconut oil three times a week. Try about a half a teaspoon and increase to see if any problems arise. Coconut and honey supposedly help build a dogs immunity.
