When do you switch to feeding twice a day?

Currently we feed Sophie 2 cups of TLC food three times a day; at 6am, around noon, and around 5pm. She is now able to hold her bladder/poop from about 9pm-5:45am so I'm thinking she'd be able to do the same during the day. I spend my whole lunch hour driving home to tend to her (potty break right away, then feeding, then another quick pee break) and drive back. It's getting a bit much and I'm wondering if it's time to switch her schedule. She's 5 months old. Thoughts?

Thank you for your input. Never had a puppy before (obviously lol).

Oliver is 4 months old and I only feed him twice a day. I have been doing this since we got him though at 9 weeks old.

Luna never ate lunch even when it was offered so we switched her to twice a day around 12 weeks.

As per the feeding instructions we got from his breeder at 21 weeks, or 5 months.

Theo was only being fed twice daily until recently. He now gets a morning meal, an evening meal, and a half cup of kibble for bedtime snack to ward off empty stomach puking. Although he doesn't eat at lunch time, I still go home around noon to let him out to potty and play a little before I go back to work for the afternoon.

We switched to 2 meals at about 6 months but we still go home at lunch time to get the dogs out and give them a little break. They are 2 years old & nearly 5 years old. Personally I think that it'd be a bit unfair to leave them alone for nearly 9 hours.

Ok, thanks...another question that's come up is: at what point do we stop multiplying the recommended serving amount by 3 while she's a puppy? When does she stop being a puppy?

      Boy, I feel dumb. lol
