Mine sniffed it and then tried to roll in it. She's no longer allowed around fish.

Cookie loves fish. The only fish he won't touch are freshwater fish.

Foods You Should Not Feed Your Dog
I checked out the article you posted...there is a lot of questionable stuff in it - raw meats, raw bones, eggs, raw fish are the basics of a lot of dogs that are raw fed!

I also read it, am I the only one that saw references to all or exclusives, I started this and I never meant to imply I gave my pup a whole bowl of fish, it was a small piece broken and mixed with his food, the same thing I do with chicken. I didn't read anything there that said a small amount would harm. some folks give their dogs garlic, sure hope it's not a whole bowl full for dinner.

first thing he wouldn't eat, which includes tree bark, cattails, corncobs and other nutritious items. oh well, just wondered if it was just him.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Some dogs, even those that inhale everything else, don't like certain food items. For example, my Abby has never liked raw carrots. She spits them out. And she eats everything. She even likes pickle juice (?!?!?!) But, she doesn't like carrots, which so many other dogs seem to love.

On the other hand, I'd be a little insulted. I'd just tell him, well, you don't like my cooking? See if you get this piece of nice, juicy leftover steak!

I thought so too. I feed raw fish, bones and all, I feed raw pork, chicken and beef with bones. It's cooked bones that are bad. Some of that list was just silly. String? Ok, it's wrapped around meat sometimes. But why not warn us about cellophane and styrofoam too then? And a lot of the foods warned about are only if they are in excess, in which case many more could have been listed. Oh yeah, avocado is part of my boy's diet, just the fruit. Did it warn about fruit seeds and pits which contain cyanide?

I get salmon scraps from work and the dogs love them. I tried the Ahi Tuna scraps, but they didn't like those at all. First thing I've tried that Bruce wouldn't eat.

Eww Zoey ate a nasty dead fish out at Lake Mead after she rolled in it! I was disgusted, she was proud

Anyway, yes mine will all eat fish of any kind. They will eat anything that doesn't eat them first
