I admit to being tempted by the Prairie Gold Large Breed Adult, as it's closest in percentages to the Fromm I already feed. I'm going to ponder it a while longer - no sense in messing with what works for the Gabrador.
Saw it finally showed up on Chewy and was wondering thoughts on the new grain free stuff....I have continued my rotation of the 4 star grain free and periodic throw in a Pork/Applesauce (currently) or Whitefish... Just wish these came in bigger bags!!! 26 lbs does seem to go fairly quick with 2 75 lb plus labs despite the smaller portions fed!

I didn't see any new 4 star, just the prairie and gold coast. I think the protein levels at 24% and 25% respectively are a bit low. I want 28%-30%, per my breeders recommendation.
I went away from Fromm to Farmina because of the amount of peas in some of the Fromm diets, but I am considering going back to Fromm because I can't feed over 3/4 of a cup twice daily of Farmina ancestral grain or Emma has liquid diarrhea. She has lost 7 pounds since being on the Farmina. She didn't need to lose weight either.
Patches my border collie mix has love handles now, even though weight has stayed the same.
So I might try the Prairie Gold puppy or I'll just go with the game-bird which I know both dogs do well on.

Been feeding Fromm for quite a while now. Rotate between whitefish, pork/applesauce and the duck. Have seen the new variety advertised but not tried it.
I have not tried it yet.
