She has been on the cranberry capsules since the first post and I have seen an improvement. She doesn't pee as much and not having to wake up several times to let let her outside. I have also notice her behaviour has improved and I can see glimpses of the personality of the puppy I first brought home. She is having 1 capsule twice a day with meals. I'm not sure if this is to much/ to little or whether it should be with Vitamin C.

She was having a urine culture done by the Vet but the first one he forgot to do after ringing him for the results over 3 days. Had to take more urine but this sample will have the cranberry juice but again he hasn't rung with the results.

That amount is fine, you can add vitamin c as well. I am glad she is doing better!

Thanks Maxx&Emma. Could you please suggest how much Vitamin C and how often. She is probably 16 kilo/ 35 lbs.

You are welcome, I would try 500 mgs daily. She is such a pretty little girl!

At long last getting some answers. Poppy has another UTI and this one grew a Staph bug resistant to most antibiotics. She has a recessed vulva and the Vet recommended to wait for one heat cycle become considering desexing her. She is putting on weight which I am happy about and sleeping better. The trainer and I have formulated a plan which I am using that has helped tremendously with the agressive outbursts and showing good results.

I'm glad you're getting answers now! Good for your vet for recognizing that having a heat cycle may correct the recessed vulva, not to mention recognizing an RV to start with. I think some on here have said you may have to wait for a second cycle if the first one doesn't satisfactorily correct it. My neighbor's dog had a recessed vulva and was spayed before her first heat, her RV wasn't recognized, and then had to have further surgery to try to correct the RV. The correction surgery sounds unpleasant, particularly since waiting through a heat cycle or 2 may correct the situation.

Glad to hear there's good progress.

That is good news, I am so glad you are getting some answers. Definitely wait through a minimum of one heat cycle, you will probably be saving your puppy and yourself a lot of suffering not to mention the money treating lifelong issues.

    Update

Poppy has diarrhea. The antibiotics aren't agreeing with her. She is back on Prescription food and digestive enzymes with pre and probiotics. I can't change the antibiotic because it's the only one that can help with her UTI.

The pre/probiotics should help. You can also add some plain pumpkin, (not the pie filling, just plain pumpkin), to each meal. Some over cooked white rice may also help. I would keep her diet as bland as possible until the antibiotics are finished. The change in food may be causing issues if it is not something she is used to having. Poor baby, it isn't uncommon for antibiotics to cause tummy upset.
