    Gauge and Benelli update

Gauge is doing great on his diet and supplements!!! I'm feeding him Propac GF rotating protiens they have lamb, beef, fish, I also rotate with health extention GF buffalo, and Canine cavier rabbit, venison. His poops have been great, his ear goop is gone, and hes had no issues with his skin. I also have him on 2 supplements from standard processing (immune support and dermal support). Usually he has very bad seasonal alleriges twice a year he would break out with pyaderma all over and loose hair. I started him on the holistic supplements in December and this spring he had no skin issues!!!!! I also had to have his anal glands done every 2-3 weeks and they were always really full no I can go a few months without having them done.

Benelli had gained weight he was 53lbs when I adopted him he is now 62 and looks good at that weight. I'm still having issues with him having loose stools on and off. I'm now wondering if its just a stress thing. he does have anxiety issues. a few weeks ago we had a birthday party and ended up being gone a lot longer thant we thought. I would have had my friend stop by to let them out had I have known. Benelli had explosive diah all over his crate.

His fecal was normal but he did have giardia when I got him. hes on a probiotic and he is being fed Canidae ALS. I'm not a fan of Purina but I bought him a bag of Pro plan focus sensitive skin and stomach to see if maybe that would help him. The vet wants to put him on ID prescription but that's nothing but crap food and like 70bucks a bag for by products. hes been on albon, panacure and metronidazole.

Your boys sound like they are doing well. My Sam can eat anything. He's on Fromm Gold large breed right now. He gains weight just looking at food and Fromm seems to help keep his weight under control. When Frank came to us in January he weighed 55 pounds. He is 70 pounds right now and looks good. He is recovering from an unknown digestive upset this weekend. I have fed him a couple bags of Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach since we got him but I like how he does on a lamb based food better than fish. Frank is eating Science Diet I/D canned for the next few days while he recovers from his illness. The vet suggested I feed him a bag of the dry Science Diet I/D or get a bag of SD sensitive skin and stomach from the pet store, then go back to his regular diet. I haven't decided whether I want to do that yet. I'm waiting for him to poop to see how things are moving along, and the darn dog won't poop.
