    Annamaet Lean

We switched Chloe to this a couple weeks ago once we took her off the puppy food she had been on while nursing pups. I’d been wanting to try this because she has always had a difficult time maintaining her girlish figure despite plenty of exercise - we think she just has a very efficient metabolism. I liked that it has about the same calories as her previous food which she had been doing well on (Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain). The Annamaet is higher protein (30 vs. 24) and lower fat than the TOTW, and I like the idea of the higher protein as she is very active and fit. I never tried it before because she and Mulder were on the same food and he couldn’t tolerate chicken, but he is gone and she is fine with chicken.

So far so good - she loves the food, has great muscle tone and is easily keeping a good weight. I was concerned about the fat being so low but her coat is nice and shiny and her poops are good so I think it’s not a problem.

Just thought I’d post our experience in case anyone is thinking of trying it ...

It seems to help other Labs with whom it agrees muscle up. You may even need to add fat (or her cheese treats) once she is back in shape.

Grace is on it, I thought I might help her lose weight. Right now I'm not overly impressed. She eats it, has nice poops, no change in her coat, but otherwise no difference than if I had her on anything else.
