    Purina Beyond

Has anyone tried Beyond? I know, I know , it's a grocery store brand *gasp* but wondered if anybody feeds it. I had a $5 off coupon and got a gift card from Target when I bought it there so I thought I would try it. Sam will eat anything so that's not an issue. However, Beyond is way higher in calories than the Pro Plan focus large breed formula he's on right now so I'll have to be careful he doesn't get chunky. There was a really good sale on Purina One at Target too (the big bag was $25.99) but I didn't pick up a bag, although I was tempted. So has anyone fed Beyond? Thoughts?

I have been using the canned Beyond to stuff their kongs. They like it!

I also have been using the canned as a topper, but haven't tried the dry.

My little dog LOVES Beyond. It's one of the few foods she eats with a gusto, every time--and I've tried Tons. she does well on it too.

I buy the Beyond Salmon/Pumkin variety. I switch between different Pro Plans and that. I wish they made it bigger though. I would buy it more if it came in 30# or bigger bags.

I bought the Simply Nine chicken formula and it came in a 32 pound bag. But I saw the formulas labeled Superfood only came in a 14.5 pound bag. Seems like an odd decision on the part of Purina to offer such small bags of the Superfood formula. If you have a multi dog house, you would be buying food all of the time.

I end up mixing it in with something else. Jed and Grizz have been doing well eating the Salmon and Rice Pro Plan (shreds, OMG!!) and I mix the Beyond in there. The 14.5# bag at my grocery store is $30 but it's only $23 at Chewy.
