Yes, my boy was finally diagnosed as having Lymphangiectasia. Rudy's symptoms don't match what I saw. You seem to have more vomitting, we had month and a half long diarrhoea. We had vomitting at the start though. I'll look up my old threads in case it gives you any clues that might help Rudy.

Oh my gosh, what a lot of links. The first ones were the discovery stage for us and are long but contain posts from folks here offering suggestions and talking about an experience with their dog and what they did.

To shorten all those links above here's what I suggest if you really suspect protein leakage. Complete blood panel to determine albumin and other levels. Urine and faecal exam to see if that's where the protein is going. Worming even if no sign is present. In my boy's case blood levels were off, worming produced no noticeable result and no abnormal trace of protein could be found in urine or stool. And, a novel single protein and carb, for us this was home cooked turkey and sweet potato. All as per our new Holistic Integrative VEt. Lymphangiectasia is very serious and until recently was pretty well a death sentence. I sure as heck would not venture into self diagnosing and treating with something this serious.

Update!!! XR was done, no blockage (I pretty much knew that since he was pooping). The blood test came back w/ low thyroid. We sent blood to MSU for a full thyroid workup. T3 & T4 were VERY low, and TSH was high. He just started levothyroxine .5mg 1/2 pill 2x/day and gets another blood panel in 2-4 wks. He continues on the Pepcid 20mg. He has not vomited in a couple of weeks! I think we finally got it figured out. The vet techs said this is a relatively simple condition to manage, and meds are not expensive. WHEW....
