Yeah, the meat only raw was the one where the poops were about the size of a Yorki's and hard as pebbles (but covered in a mucus so it popped right out). I didn't even have to pick it up in the yard in the summer as it would turn to powder. It was awesome.

Thanks for all of the comments!

As far as feeding them a raw diet, I have been looking into it, but I don't see it 100% doable because we travel so frequently, and sometimes without any sort of refrigeration. Anybody do the prey model raw that travels a lot? There's so much info on it, I barely know where to begin!

Fromm doesnt work for my corgi at all and the price doesnt work for me. Its not easy to buy here and im not driving all over town for dog food

Mine usually eat Proplan or Natures Domain from Costco. I just recently switched mine to Natural Balance Synergy. Im very pleased with it. Ill feed a few bags and go to something different

All of my dogs poop 2 times a day no matter what they eat with the execption of a few foods and Fromm is one of them

Fromm works great for Candy but doesn't work for Spike. I tried so many different food for Spike and so far, Wellness core seems to work the best.
As for Raw, there is a pre-made Raw dog food company in Seattle called Darwin's.

Mine both poo twice a day, three every now and then. Both are on the same rotation, the only difference is Bruce gets 4oz of raw salmon, and a tablespoon of coconut oil. I give Sophie maybe an ounce of salmon every other day. I've been feeding a rotation of Fromm (no chicken or white potato) mostly grain free, I do feed the Salmon Al La Veg. I started working in a #25 bag of Petkind Dry Tripe, Salmon or Bison protein. There poo's are good of Fromm, but are about half the size on the Petkind. I joke that our cat has bigger poo's that the dogs when on the Petkind. We had a new pet store open here, and the carry Petcurien GO! which I had never seen before. I bought a small bag of the salmon variety, and have been mixing it with the Fromm Lamb and Lentil We're on now. The dogs love it (no surprise) and Bruce has stopped the random itching and scratching he's done since he was a pup. So I think I may try a few of the other varieties of GO!

Personally I wouldn't feed Diamond if it made them poo diamonds. To many recalls. And I completely agree that if your dog does well on a given food, stick with it.

We use Fromm, Earthborn Holistic, and Merrick (all grain free) in a rotation for Maverick. He does not do well with lamb or duck and he prefers whitefish to salmon. We actually mix the foods together at a 1:1 ratio and feed that way. Some he likes more than others. He likes beef, pork, and bison the best.

Fromm (grain free) and Wellness Core are 2 of 6 or 7 foods I use in rotation and I do not see any difference in the size or frequency of their poops on either food. The only kibble that I noticed a difference with was Orijen. Their poops were smaller and usually once per day as opposed to twice per day on the other kibble. Currently they are eating one kibble meal and one raw or home cooked meal daily and still go twice a day unless the kibble is Orijen.

I am with Barry, I would not feed any Diamond foods, regardless of what the dogs pooped or if they gave it to me for free.

The Diamond Company has had so many recalls...I would not trust them at all.

Fromm is a nice company..small and family owned.

I also like Nutrisource....another family run company with a brand new state of the art manufacturing plant.

NutriSource Dog Food, Cat Food, Super Premium Pet Food
