A well rounded diet is important for any dog, but especially ones who may be sensitive due to other health needs! This is an issue I look into a lot, and i think this best sums it up: Eukanuba Daily Care - The Best Dog Food for Sensitive Stomachs - We set the pet first | We set the pet first
Hope that helps, and good luck!
Fish oil or coconut oil would be a good move. You can also try another PP version where there is other meat in it. But if you think that maybe the dog has a sensitivity to chicken (which many do, my seizure dog can't eat chicken in kibble), you won't be able to feed PP. Even the duck has "animal fat" which could contain chicken. Pro Plan works and I feed it to my guys...probably 10 years now. Jack gets something else because of the chicken issue. I would try a different PP first. It's actually good to switch out their food from time to time. Mine have no digestive issues changing food. Probably because I do change.
