    Interesting, hadn't thought about that. It's been around for 6 weeks or so. Hasn't gotten any worse or larger areas. Of course, hasn't gotten better either. We did bring him to the vet in early February to rule out anything like that. She didn't think it was anything like that. Of course she just did a physical exam and didn't run any tests or anything like that.

    Hoku has a small patch of demodectic mange on her ear; but we took her in to check it and the Vet did a scraping and put it under the microscope to confirm. I'd ask your Vet to do more than just look at the patches.

    I agree and that will be the next step. We brought him in at 6 months after I saw him swallow half of a tennis ball, she gave him a physical exam and cleared him. I asked for X-rays and sure enough, it was there in his stomach, too big to pass into his intestinal tract. We are monitoring him now that we are transferring him onto Fromm Four Star and after 3 days, things are already looking up.
