    Cool Blue buffalo wilderness

I have a yellow lab he's 9 months Perty solid dog he's weighing around 60-65 lbs havent been to vet in a while so don't know his exact weight.I've been feeding him blue buffalo wilderness puppy he seems to be doing good on it but everybody is telling me to take him off of it when I got him he was on victor have had the runs all the time. I dint know about all the lawsuit stuff against BB when I started him on it. I was just wondering if they upgraded thier quality since then or if the wildness line up was even in the lawsuit. I'mJust looking to have my dog reach his full potential. A lot of ppl around here feed pro plan. Is bb really bad or just got a bad name in the last year. Not looking to spend a arm and a leg for dog food just trying to get best bang for my buck and bb seems to be priced right in the middle for the quality they saying you getting but are you really getting it

I'm feeding Milo BB Wilderness puppy formula and his stools aren't as solid as I'd like to see. I think I will try to switch to ProPlan and see how that goes. I have been feeding Blue for years now with no problems except Milo. I'm not sure if the quality changed or if Milo is just sensitive to it.

I was gonna wait till he's was out of the puppy stage to switch him when can I switch to adult once he's a year or it all depends on what his development stage is at

A lot of people here feed Pro Plan and their dogs do phenomenally well on it.

I would contact your breeder and stick with whatever they feed.

seems pro plan and black gold is what they use saw a dog ysterday that's 13 years old on black gold and he looks better health than my 6 year old lab but im not worried bout him he is a couch potato I'm more concerned with my 9 month old got big plans for him

doubledips' yellow pup is from conformation lines and many conformation pups do look chunkier than pups from field or pet bred lines. The adults tend to look stockier than field or pet bred labs as well. Comet is a year old now- she probably has some recent photos under a thread about his birthday. here's one: Comet's Official Birthday That boy has been through a lot in his short little life so far. If you look at some photos of dogs on here, you'll see how different the labs can look yet be perfectly the size and weight they should be.

While I've heard of Black Gold, it's not one that's sold in the food stores nearest me. I think some foods are more available or popular in different regions of the country, although with being able to order foods online, you can get most foods anywhere.

Many of us feed ProPlan but I would stick to whatever your breeder—even if not a "fancy one," someone bred your dog—uses and recommends. I'm sure your friend would give you that contact number.

I was gonna wait till he's was out of the puppy stage to switch him when can I switch to adult once he's a year or it all depends on what his development stage is at

I switched Hoku to adult ProPlan Sport when she was about 14 weeks old, on our breeder's recommendation.
