I feed my dog Eukanuba - which is by far the best in my opinion, I defend it to my friends all the time, it's so underrated! More information on it can be found here: Eukanuba Daily Care - The Best Dog Food for Sensitive Stomachs - We set the pet first | We set the pet first

Zach eats a Kirkland (Costco's house brand) Adult Dog Chicken, Rice & Vegetable supplemented with a half cup of cooked chicken. I sprinkle a small envelope of Forti-Flora on each meal. And he gets a Kirkland's Glucosamine 1500 mg & Chondroitin 1200 mg tablet plus a K's Fish Oil 1000 mg capsule just before his supper is served (as I also do).

Anyone use Nutro foods??? Does grain free really make a difference???? My yellow lab has been itchy for a long time (he's 2)---but skin and coat and poops are great!

That is what Bacon was on when he came home from the breeder, however Bacon has a sensitivity to chicken so we moved away from it once we found the source of our issues.

Grain free simply substitutes something else, like potato or peas to name a few. It can make a difference, or not make a difference. In my readings chicken is more likely to be an allergen than grain is.

The itchiness could be due to environmental allergies. The scratching opens the skin to bacteria and yeast. It might be worth having the vet check for bacteria and yeast.
