Rarelly use treats from shops. Mine usually get little bits of cheese & boiled chicken breast + lots of vegs & fruit as for them anything I give'em is valuable

Same with us, with the exception of hotdogs. Lola is downright crazy about carrots and loves almost any fruit you put in front of her. We also slice up a bunch of organic bananas, put some wax paper on a cookie sheet, and freeze them...a BIG hit.

Due to Lola's allergies, we stay away from most packaged treats now. The exception is some of the products that Sojos makes.

We do lots of fruits / veggies for Jackson. When we were training, we did kibble, organic string cheese or tiny pieces of organic hotdogs from Whole Foods. Every now and then, I make treats like this. The recipe makes a ton of treats, so I usually freeze most of the dough and just bake a bit at a time. I'm always wary of them going bad, so I bake them completely (so they're totally dry) and keep them in the fridge. I usually don't even bother with the shapes - just roll into a thin snake and cut off tiny "nuggets".

I use almost all fruits and vegetables. I really like the Plato brand for treats.
