    For what it’s worth, Mulder burped less after we switched him to a raised feeder. Don’t know if it was coincidence or not, but maybe worth a try?

    My Akitas also burped less when started on raised feeders. Every dog since has eaten off raised bowls or with me holding the bowl up...except Dan who will eat only off the floor.

    Another thought is possible GERD. My pom developed GERD in her senior years and one of the main symptoms was burping a lot. She took Pepcid AC and problem solved immediately. Might be something to run past your vet next time you are in if nothing else seems to work
