You don't understand labeling very well. All those WOW ingredients in Orijen make up only 5% of the finished product. The rest of the ingredients are the same quality and come from the same suppliers as every other food on the market. Chicken Meal, Beef Meal, Pork Meal, Lamb Meal....all the same, 95% all the same.

Under scientific analysis, the vast majority of dry foods cannot be differentiated in terms of nutritional content. Dr. Tim's can be differentiated based on professional usage like sled dog racing and field dogs. Orijen is for people that fall for marketing, the unprofessional crowd. All that fresh protein that Orijen uses has even higher water content because water is added to make a sponge before processing, like the way hot dogs are made. Also, Orijen uses lots of legumes to boost protein but splits them.

You can excluded Beneful or Pedigree if you want as outliers but Orijen is not better or worse than foods costing 2/3rd less.

Orijen is good at making you believe its dog cookies are better than others. The sad truth is, the food is no different apart from skill in marketing. The fact you used the word "Tundra" is proof of that. If the government allowed detailed dry matter analysis the game would be up for Orijen.
