You know, that happened a few years ago when I was feeding Purina!
So Niner eats Proplan Sensitive Skin and Stomach dry food. I went to go buy a bag at Petsmart today and not only did the bag go from 33 lbs to 30 lbs they also jacked up the price to $49.99. Niner does well on this food and we will continue to feed it, but honestly it's not worth $49.99. Shame on Purina.
They also changed the ingredients a bit. Not a bad thing from the looks of it.

I know. I was rather shocked at the price. Maybe I'll switch to PureVita lol
Wow, I just posted the other day about having hard time finding that food, now I'm glad we seem to have found something new.

I was shocked when I went into Petsmart to redeem a voucher from Eukanuba. The 30/20 also had gone up compared to what I had remembered seeing a few weeks ago. $49.99 for 29# vs $34.17 that I pay online thru Chewy.com (good thing I only had to pay the sales tax!). I wonder if much of it isn't PetSmart? I try to avoid those places personally.

It might be Petsmart. I've noticed their bird food has also gone up considerably. I went to go buy bird pellets and they wanted 20 for a bag. Nope was 5 cheaper at the bird store down the street. Sheesh.

This began years ago. Coffee went form a 3lb can to 2.5 lbs. Same size can, same price but 1/2 lb less coffee. They did the same thing with sugar. (I worked in a grocery store!) Could be a combination of Petsmart gouging or Purina gouging.

the grocery stores have been doing it for years...everything is getting put into a smaller package i.e. cereal, vegtables, etc and the price has gone up. We just paid 31.98 for Sarah's food 16lb bag.
