    New Food

I stopped by the pet store this afternoon to pick up a few things for the puppy, and saw this food Nulo Pet Food. I've never heard of it, and was talking with the manager about it. Looking at the ingredients it seems like a decent food. Just curious to see if anyone here has ever used it. I'm not looking to change, but I'm always open to adding to the rotation.

Never heard of that dog food before.

Just wanted to see how you were doing today? One more day for that little boy to join your family. Am so excited to hear all about him. Safe travels for all.

    I see!

Sorry don't have any information about that food, don't know if it's good to our dog seems like new to me now i'm just curious about the effect on our dog! I'm totally contented to my dog food and don't want to try any kind of dog food again, before i'm tired of searching and choosing the right food that maintain a healthy figure and a healthy health and healthy coat for our baby and now the search is over for me and it's almost a year since I found this food that vet-approved for my furbabies for having a sensitive stomach before, and so far so good they love it and they became healthier, hope you find some good information about this product before you try it!
    Good luck

Some one else asked about it a while back. Made in Texas. I don't know anything else about it.

Yeah we have given the wet stuff to the cat. She does well on it. It's supposed to be good but I don't know much about it and know zero about the dog food. I'd be interested in hearing what you find.

I was at our pet place a few months ago and their rep was there. He was touting how the food was invented by an athlete (like a distance runner maybe?) and it was food for an athletic dog or something like that? I know it was a marketing thing, but my first thought was, "How many dogs in the US can be compared to an elite athlete?". I felt like it was a lot of marking mumbo-jumbo. That said, the ingredients looked fine, but not really different from a food like Fromm that is tested, trusted, tried and true, so I didn't the purpose of looking into any further. I think you can buy it at Petsmart, so it's convenient.

I took a look at the Lamb and Chickpea formula. It also has turkey and salmon in it, perhaps more than the lamb since the lamb is listed as meat but the turkey and salmon are meals. It says NO chicken protein but it does use chicken fat and it's the first fat listed. Mostly it's the proteins that might be a problem for a food sensitive dog but if I had a dog sensitive to chicken I'd avoid any form of it. Yellow peas are ahead of chickpeas in the ingredient list so I wonder why they name it for the chickpeas?

When I rotated I looked for clear differences in main protein and filler so for me that food probably wouldn't cut it.

I only looked at the Lamb and Chickpea food, maybe the others are different.
