Moving away from PP--since the formula change in the SSS, my dogs won't eat it. I have gone back to Fromm.

Looks like a good quality food. May have to look at these for the rotation!

Uh oh - I put Niner back on it (shreds a no go), but I still had a bag before the formula change unless they changed the formula before the bag then we are still good.

I think it did....I've been having trouble with mine enthusiastically eating it for some time--even tried another brand in the middle just to see--went back to it and this time was horrible. I couldn't get mine to eat more than 1/2 cup of it. If Niner is eating it fine, hopefully he'll continue.

Jack still eats Evangers Meat Lovers Medley (Beef/Rabbit). He's been seizure free for over 1 1/2 years now.

The rest eat Pro Plan. I rotate between varieties. Grace is trying the Bright Minds. The rest are eating Beef shreds right now since it was on SALE. Next bag is Sport 26/16. I also do the Natural Turkey too.

Not necessarily the case. Sometimes dogs will have an overabundance of bad bacteria in their gut. It's NOT food related. Probiotics will help with that. Supplements are not additives. They are usually something needed. Probiotics, joint supplements etc.

I've been feeding Charlotte Natural Balance Duck and Potato dry food since she's been about a year old, she's 12 now. I'm starting our new pup Teddi on it too. I add a tablespoon of organic plain (or vanilla) yogurt to the kibble in the morning for digestion, and just to add a little flavor/texture to it because it must be so boring to eat dry kibble every day of your life! Their poops are perfect and easy to pick up , it's not too expensive, but not too cheap either. Charlotte's been a healthy dog (knock on wood) except for having to get a couple of teeth pulled last week, I have never had to bring her to the vet in the past 12 years, except for the annual check ups. I'm hoping that since Del Monte bought the company, the products won't be compromised by big corporate greed. The late Dick van Patten used to own the company.

Kona (1 year, 3 months, female black lab) had some issues early on with loose stools. I was feeding her Flint River Ranch Lamb and Rice. I tried a few different foods until finally finding Orijen. I've been feeding her Orijen (Puppy Large, Adult Dog, and recently Regional Red) for about 6 months now with good results.

I also give her Coconut Oil and on occasion I'll add a capsule of Herbsmith Microflora Plus Pre and Probiotics into her dish.
