Definitely switch! I fed Proplan Sensitive skin and stomach and the food is always the same
How do you mix food to do the switch cold turkey or work it in slow
Has Rogue ever eaten any other foods? I am able to switch my dogs cold turkey with little, if any, soft poops or other issues. I have fed them different foods, both different brands and different proteins, over the years so that they tolerate a cold turkey switch. If Rogue has eaten other foods, I'd probably go for the cold turkey approach. If not, you could try a 1/4 new to 3/4 old food for a day, then switch to 1/2 and 1/2, then 3/4 to 1/4, then all the new stuff. Keep an eye on his poops. If he starts having diarrhea, I'd slow the process. If they're soft but not terrible, I'd probably forge ahead. There is one food I've seen that recommends feeding 1/2 the recommended amount for the first meal and then go to full on new food after that. Some dogs' stomachs seem more sensitive to switches than others so you may need to see how Rogue responds. With the quality control issues you've found with the BB, I'd probably aim for a fairly rapid switch if he tolerates. Let's see what others say though.
If I were switching from BB to Sport, I would do it cold turkey. If you aren't sure how your dog would respond to the switch, smartrock gives great advice.

I would switch cold turkey too, I was told by a vet years ago to fast for 24 hours when switching cold turkey. If you think Roge can skip a meal I would do that, feed breakfast or dinner then skip the next meal, and feed the new food the next meal.
Since I have a a lot of the blue buffalo should I just work it in that food kinda expensive to waist
He was on a different food when I got him but other than that no
