How funny... left for over a year to recover from ovarian cancer; return out of the blue just for something fun & different. Didn't think these kinds of threads were still occurring.

Feed what works; there's nothing better then a happy dog - - you'll know if something is working or not.

    Pro Plan gets poor ratings

I recently put Sam back on Pro Plan Focus large breed because he had loose stool on Eukanuba. Frank is on the Eukanuba lab formula and he has no issues. Nancy, did you see Pro Plan now has a Sensitive Skin and Stomach lamb and oatmeal formula? I wonder if it's any good?

Hi Georgia - I did see the sensitive lamb and oatmeal by Pro Plan. I may have to look into it again. I jumped the gun with the Eukanuba comment above. Niner's poop though smaller is soft again, but not as bad as the PPSSS. I do think it is just him as he's had this problem his entire life so. . . Hope you are doing well.

If you have a Centinela Pets or similar near you that carries Steve's Real Food products, this might help Niner: Raw Goat Milk Yogurt

It's a mix of raw goat milk, chia seeds, and coconut flour. The chia gel helps clean the digestive system, and the goat milk and coconut have other added benefits. If Niner is otherwise healthy, he might just have an imbalance of gut flora that once cleaned and proper levels of good bacteria established, will reduce or eliminate his issues.

Thanks I will look into this. Yes, he's perfectly fine just has always had soft poop even when I first got him.
