Dock diving in UK

We're taking the dogs to a local Game & Country Fair tomorrow and will enter them into the dock diving event. I think it's a US org. that is doing it.

I'm really excited but aren't sure what the rules are.

We have to pay £7.00 per team....is that 1 dog per adult?

Yes, each team is one human and one dog. A dog can be in a team with more than one handler but handlers have to take turns and jump in different waves. You're going to love it!!!

Here's a link to the DD rules and policies. It's a pretty big document, but you can surf through and look for what you need.

Thank you!!

We had such a fun time.....Alfie wasn't too sure though he loves water but he did jump a couple of times.

Ted, my 9 yr old sprocker got a medal....he had a blast. The crowd were great and were clapping and cheering him on....I nearly ended in the pool a couple of times....the guys that were holding the event were so positive too.

If nothing else I think we gave everbody watching a good laugh....especially when I was on my knees trying get Ted going.

Wish we could do it more often.

This is the only pic I could get thanks to Alfie getting far too excited whilst Ted was jumping.
