Benadryl question:

Which kind? Regular, Chewable or Liquid
Adult or Childrens?

Is there a difference in one being more dog-friendly than the others?

Yesterday I was looking to get some to have on hand but I wasn't sure which one...

A razor is good to have too, so you can shave aroung the wound.

In a pinch (if your dog is moving too much to shave, you don't have a razor, you are against shaving for whatever reason etc), you can also slick the hair back with petroleum jelly.

I just read that having Pictures of your dogs should be with you if traveling so if they were to get lost you could show their pictures around.

Activated charcoal is also a great thing to add to first aid kits. It prevents certain types of toxic materials from absorbing into your dog. I bought some from my vet and it's inexpensive.
