    Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Treats

    We are making these tomorrow...

    2.5 cups whole wheat flour
    2 eggs
    1/2cup canned pumpkin
    2 TBSP Peanut Butter
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

    Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
Whisk together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff. Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick roll. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. (I have a new dog bone cookie cutter to try out!)

Bake in preheated oven until hard, about 40 minutes.

I made these when we were snowed in last week. I had to use all-purpose flour as I didn’t have any whole wheat but the dogs LOVED them.

Finally got around to making these (I was holding off as we have tons of treats around the house as it is haha). They are not bad! (yes I try all the treats I make if they don't include fish/liver). The dogs really are not picky either way

I will use this recipe over the one I had before as it has fewer ingredients.

Is it just a straight substitution (rice flour for the flour)? I have some of that I think and need to use it up.
