NLR Lily meets Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund

Wiener dog Lily met her idol Crusoe the celebrity dachshund yesterday. I'm almost ashamed to admit we waited in line for nearly 4 hours to snap a photo with an internet famous dog. [emoji23] [emoji23][emoji23]
Figured if anyone would understand my insanity it would be fellow dog lovers.

I'd never heard of Crusoe but that picture is adorable....worth the 4 hours, I think.

Yes! He had pre-pawtrographed a sticker that his mom placed on the book while his dad did the photos. There were about 700 people that showed up to see him. It's their biggest turn out so far.

I see no shame waiting 4 hours for something as adorable as Crusoe. Bet you could feel the excitement as you got closer to him. Hey it's a once in a lifetime 'opportunity' so go for it. I admire you for waiting for something you really wanted!!!! Cute pups, both of them!

Thank you! Part of the reason for going was a few months ago when my MIL's doxie had to have the spinal surgery, she reached out to Crusoe's family as Crusoe had also recently undergone a spinal surgery and they answered every single one of her emails. These are people with over a MILLION internet followers yet they took the time to respond to her and we wanted to say thanks. We are glad we waited, he was a special little pup. Still can't believe how photogenic he is! It was impressive.
