    Meet Fitzi, our new foster

We picked up this handsome fellow last weekend. He's about 2 1/2, a Lab-GSP cross, very sweet and a little shy.

    He may be a keeper.

    Andrew, Faye, Fitzi, and Lucy

Not gone, only gone on ahead - Bruno, Rex, BoJo, Kendal, Kingsley, Moonpie, Avis, Corndog, Stella, and now Achilles

Which one of you is he is looking up adoringly at? Methinks he thinks he might be a keeper too.

He is looking up at Faye. They are already pretty tight.

Have no idea what shyness in a dog is like, but it really sounds good.
    Best of luck there,

Fitzi - future foster failure. Most likely going to be Fitzi foster failure in his forever home!

He's a little timid around new people and things, startles at loud or unexpected noises. I took him for walk today and he spotted a small tree stump in the open grass. We headed over to investigate and the closer we got the slower he went. I went up to it to show him it was harmless and he stayed at leash length looking at it. Finally convinced him to come and sniff it. After that all was good with the world.
