Stick attached to tree? No problem, says Thor

We had our first good snow here in Bend so I strapped on my cross country skis and took Thor out on our normal walk/run path on BLM land behind the property. He was so happy with frequent bouts of the "snow zoomies" (snoomies?)

I usually don't let him play with random sticks and he leaves them alone. But something about today's fresh snow had him looking at everything differently and he was really drawn to branches sticking out of the snow. I finally had to just take a video and laugh. This one was still attached to the tree.

Poor Thor. He looked confused when the stick wouldn't give.

    Love it.

Jet used to try to break a branch off a live sumac on our walks. She worked on that same branch for years till finally I guess it was damaged and weakened enough she finally broke it off. She took it home with her to keep. There is something about sumac, Oban is working on one now.

Too funny. You should have the talk with him and let him know where sticks come from.
