She's not allowed on the sofa...

I'm dog-sitting a little female black Lab I've never met for a co-worker. I don't even know how old she is; maybe two? He dropped her off yesterday morning, was in and out within about five minutes and that was that.

He told me that she is not allowed on the sofa or beds. Well, let me tell you, this dog sleeps on the sofa like it's her job. And getting on the bed? You know how most dogs are restless their first night in a strange place with a strange person, two other strange dogs and a strange cat? Not this dog. She jumped on the bed next to the cat, curled up in a little ball and slept all night. She's also fat, like a tick with a pointy little head, and snores like a drunk sailor!

LOL! She's totally taking advantage of the fact that she's not home. This reminds me of one time I found Jules on our bed. He was not allowed on our bed. He had his own plush bed right next to ours. Well, my husband was out of the room one evening doing something while I was brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed. I turn around looking for Jules because usually he's in his bed by now. Look all over. Then out of the corner of my eye I catch something on our bed. He made himself comfortable on my hubby's side with his head on the pillow and half of him under the blanket. It was pretty funny. Still had to kick him off though.

Sounds like she knows how to enjoy the good life...probably hopes her owner won't return.
