    Tick control for a puppy

Which tick control method do you use for a puppy of 8 wks? I used Frontline Plus for Jules but they don't seem to have a puppy formula.

I used FrontLine TopSpot...and measured out an appropriate amount by weight of pups. Danny and his brother George split a vial for that first dosing. (may not be a concern for a Lab sized pup)

Not all types of prevention can be used for puppies. Some have an age limit while others are size limit. Your vet will be able to give you a better recommendation. Also keep in mind there are topical, collars, chewable, and vaccinations.

Both of mine are vaccinated for lymes as it is quite prevalent in this area. We just started Bravecto last week, but that has an age of 6 months or older.

I had good luck with the small dog seresto . Gigi pretty much lived in the woods due to all the camping we did as a puppy.
