Glad your son's symptoms have cleared up. That would have been devastating to have to return Archie!
I agree, maybe something Archie brought home from the breeder.
Glad to see that your son is doing better today. I have to agree maybe something Archie carried from the breeder.
If you need to really test the allergy theory I will be more then happy to puppy sit Archie for the week LOL

Update: so the breeder said she did use new shampoos and other stuff. Archie got a bath a few days ago. My son is still having an allergic reaction although not as intense. No skin reaction. If he snuggles with Archie quite a bit his will start to get a little red in the eyes. My son does get congested though. All goes away with allergy meds but I don't want to keep him medicated. So I don't even know what to do. Wait it out? What a crappy situation.

I'd want to be absolutely sure it is the puppy before I'd ever return him......could it be something at day care, or now that spring is arriving, could it be something the puppy walks through or brings in on his coat, like pollen or something? Good luck--hope it doesn't turn out to be the pup himself, although if he does have to go back to the breeder, he is still young enough to get a great home.
I don't even want to think about returning him. We're all in love with Archie. I'm gonna hold on to him and see if my son improves. I think my son has seasonal allergies so he'll probably be congested regardless. I didn't realize it until last year. My hubby and I were on vacation in April and my MIL was watching him. She noticed he was congested and gave allergy meds and it went away. So anyway. Maybe he'll adjust...

With the crazy weather we've been having, more people seem to be experiencing seasonal allergies early this year.

Oh no I hope it is just something lingering with the shampoo used before he came home.
